NSPIRE

HUD introduced and implemented the NSPIRE program in 2023(Formerly REAC/HQS) in order to streamline industry standards with a focus on in-unit repairs. Along with these changes, so has the scoring model and life threatening deficiencies.

Castor conducts NSPIRE inspections prior to inspection date, repairs both before and after inspection, shadowing services along with data entry in the new NSPIRE portal.

We work with Project-Based sites with public and private agencies. Castor has begun working on Housing Choice Voucher NSPIRE inspections, with a detailed reporting procedure for PHAs.
